"Shortness of Breath, Swollen / weight gain, Severe Exhaustion, Bloated, Severely Constipated (all my life), My Scalp Burns, Bi-lateral Rash on inside forearms, Arrhythmia, Depression, ADD, Memory Problems, Angular Chelitis, Thinning hair. Sima listened and advised me to start with a 4-week program to tackle these issues and get my body back to a place of health. She wrote all my menus and recipes, week by week and would make adjustments as we went along the way, depending on how I responded to the foods that she incorporated. 1 week in and I was feeling better, which made me a bit more optimistic and excited. 2 weeks in I felt good. 3 weeks in great. And by the 4th week, my energy felt like it was at a level that mirrored my teenage years! "Working with Utter Wellness and specifically, Sima, has been life-changing for me. I came into her program a very stressed out, over-achiever, Type A person. I was already working out 6 days a week and monitoring all of my calories and macros (proteins, carbs and fats) in My Fitness Pal on a daily basis. I was taking in a lot of protein and fats (as that is the trend right now), yet I was not seeing the scale budge. I'd lost only 1.5 pounds in 4.5 months since starting this very rigorous regimen, and I was frustrated. Sima's calm and thoughtful demeanor immediately made me feel relaxed and trusting of what she had to say. She took time in getting to know me, and she worked with me on a weekly basis (multiple touchpoints a week via email and a longer conversation on the weekends) to see how I was feeling. She removed the burden of calorie/macro-counting and simply provided a plan filled with lots of colors (veggies and fruits) and lean proteins. We removed dairy and red meat and limited my alcohol intake to see how my body reacted to this. In the first week, I dropped 4.5 pounds! That was more than I'd done in 4.5 months! She continued with me for a total of 7 weeks, and I'm happy to say that I feel more balanced, lighter, and more in control of how I'm fueling my body. I still have the energy to work out 6 days a week, but I've changed up my workout routines to incorporate more of what I enjoy vs. what I feel I 'should' do.
