We hear about stress all the time, we hear people saying how stressed they are, or how stressful life is.. All true statements. So it is imperative to find ways to de-stress every day.


Stress response is coordinated in our body by the autonomic (automatic) nervous system. This system has 2 parts, the sympathetic and the parasympathetic nervous systems. The sympathetic system is responsible for controlling the stress response and the parasympathetic for controlling the relaxation response. When under stress the sympathetic system releases powerful chemicals like adrenaline, cortisol, aldosterone and other neurotransmitters which have multiple effects on the body. Increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, increased stomach acid, increased cholesterol, decreased blood flow etc….


On the other hand chronic stress has also the psychological effect on the person; anxiety, depression, anger, hostility and a decrease in memory and the ability to focus.

So all this leads us to try to manage stress in an effective and convenient. All our exercises can be done at home and have long-lasting results on decreasing stress and anxiety.
